How to read a before and after

Every photo on this page is a job one of us actually ran, shot on a phone in a customer's home. Nothing here is a stock photo or a demo carpet, which is why the lighting is uneven and the rooms are furnished. That is the point. A cleaning photo taken under studio lights on a brand new remnant tells you nothing about your hallway.

What to look for: traffic lanes, the darker paths worn between doorways and furniture where the fiber has been ground down and filled with soil. Those are the hardest part of a carpet to bring back and the honest test of a clean. You will also see grooming marks in the after shots, the light directional lines left when we rake the pile before we leave. They help the carpet dry evenly and they fade on their own.

Why some carpets do not come all the way back

We would rather tell you this here than after we have your money. Soil comes out. Some stains do not, because they are not soil at all: bleach spots, sun fade along a window line, pet urine that has already reached the backing, and dye stains from things like red drink mix have changed the fiber itself rather than sat on top of it. Wear is the same story. A traffic lane that has been walked flat for ten years is physically abraded, and a clean carpet that is worn still looks worn.

When we see one of those, we say so during the free estimate rather than after the job. What you get is the honest ceiling for your carpet, not a promise nobody can keep.

How these jobs were cleaned

All of them with truck-mounted hot water extraction. The unit stays in the van and runs the heat and the vacuum from there, so the solution reaches the fiber hot and most of the water comes straight back out, which is what gets a carpet dry in hours rather than days. We pre-treat, agitate the pile so the pre-treatment reaches the base of the fiber instead of sitting on the tips, then extract in overlapping passes.

Tile and grout is the same machine with different tools. Grout is porous and sits below the tile surface, so pressure and heat do the work that a mop physically cannot reach.

If a spot comes back within 7 days of any of it, we come back and re-clean it. No hassle, no charge. That is the whole promise, and it is the reason we take the after photos in the first place: we want a record of how the job looked when we left.
